A typical NYC tourist question?
I'm visiting NY soon and wanted to know something with all the shows and movies that are set in NY actually set, not an LA studio , does filming ever get in the way of everyday life for New Yorkers? For example if they're filming in a street or museum or something. And am i likely to see any filming happening? Will mostly be in Manhattan, and curious to know how often this happens?

I heard that the us tourist and student visa have the same length of stay which is 5 years. Is that true? For instance, i have just graduated from uni and it took me only 3 4 years, then can i fill my one year left by working? And am i eligible to re apply the visa after the visa has expired? Thank u.

Is the Rosslyn Inn in Arlington, VA a safe place to stay? Also, how far is it from most tourist sights?
I'm a little concerned about safety. I've heard that tourists are safe there but I'm just looking for some reassurance I suppose. We chose the location because of the great price and how it is said to be fairly close time wise to many sights.My biggest question is about the distance from the hotel to the tourist sights, like the national mall for example. We plan to take the metro and the page CLAIMS that the hotel is a short distance time from them but I've traveled enough to know that word of mouth is more reliable. Also, I've never been to the eastern part of the country so ANY tips and advice are very much welcomed Thank you
